It looks as though Lindsay Lohan might have to get used to staring at four walls for 23 hours of the day again.
The troubled star, who recently left jail and rehab, may face going back inside for a longer time after admitting that she failed a drugs test.
According to the Sun, Linds will stand in front of Judge Elden Fox on Friday for her probation violation hearing.
However, instead of being granted bail, it is thought that the star may just be put straight on remand.
A source revealed: “Lindsay could be remanded directly into custody on Friday, pending the probation violation hearing, and it’s very likely that Judge Elden Fox will do that.
“Lindsay was allowed to remain out on bail last time until her probation violation hearing, but Judge Fox probably won’t give her that privilege because of her failed drugs test, and this is her second probation violation hearing in less than three months.”
Surprisingly, the director of Lindsay’s new film, Inferno is still backing the actress, hoping that she can still do her day job.
“We understand that the judge is all powerful and obviously we hope that his decision will be favourable for us and Lindsay Lohan.
“We have discussed the situation and we understand that we can still get Lindsay insured for the movie but we have no ‘plan B’ in place until we find out what the judge’s decision will be.
“Our thoughts are with Lindsay and we are all hoping that she can get over this setback and can still complete Inferno with us but not everything is in our hands now.”
